You'll share your ideas, learn new skills, and really make a difference for not only your team, but for your customers and your community. <br><br>Job Objective<br><br>Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a social-first content strategy across owned channels that is culturally relevant, trend-aware, and rooted in how customers engage with social today. This role partners closely with Marketing leadership and cross-functional teams to create content that shows up authentically in culture, drives conversation and community, and supports key business initiatives while elevating the overall digital customer experience. <br><br><strong>The ideal candidate:</strong> You're a culture‑led operator who reads the room instinctively and stays tuned to conversation, community, and tone. You move fast, make sharp calls, and represent the brand with clarity and humanity. You care deeply about how brands show up moment to moment in culture.<br><br>Primary Duties<br><ul><li>Supports and helps operationalize a social-first, culture-led content strategy, ensuring content is designed specifically for social platforms-not adapted from other channels</li><li>Plans and executes content aligned to marketing priorities while identifying opportunities to tap into cultural moments, trends, and real-time conversations</li><li>Coordinates development of social content (copy, creative, video, short-form, etc.) that is platform-native, engaging, and optimized for how audiences consume content today</li><li>Builds and manages dynamic social content calendars that balance planned campaigns with reactive, in-the-moment content opportunities</li><li>Ensures all content is customer-centric, culturally relevant, and aligned to brand voice, while pushing creative boundaries to stand out in-feed</li><li>Partners with Brand, Loyalty, Merchandising, and Digital teams to translate business goals into compelling, story-driven social content that resonates in culture</li><li>Actively monitors social trends, emerging platforms, and digital behaviors to inform a test-and-learn approach and continuously evolve content strategy</li><li>Identifies and drives opportunities for real-time marketing, trend participation, and reactive content creation where appropriate</li><li>Supports and executes community management with a conversation-first mindset, fostering engagement, dialogue, and brand affinity</li><li>Tracks and analyzes social performance, delivering insights focused on engagement quality, cultural relevance, and content effectiveness-not just output metrics</li><li>Ensures consistency in messaging and visual identity, while adapting content to feel native to each platform and audience</li><li>Coordinates executional processes including briefing, approvals, scheduling, and publishing with speed and agility to meet the pace of social</li><li>Supports influencer, creator, and partner collaborations that extend brand reach and credibility within culture</li></ul><br>Typical Years Experience Required<br><br>2-4 years (with strong emphasis on social media, content creation, and culture-driven digital marketing)<br><br>Minimal Education Requirement<br><br>Bachelor's Degree (Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field preferred)<br><br>Key Skills & Competencies<br><ul><li>Strong understanding of major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) and how content formats and behaviors differ across each</li><li>Demonstrated ability to create platform-native, culturally relevant content</li><li>Deep awareness of social trends, memes, and emerging digital culture, with the ability to translate them into brand-right executions</li><li>Experience with real-time or reactive content development in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Ability to analyze performance data and extract actionable insights tied to engagement and content resonance</li><li>Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to move quickly and adapt to shifting priorities</li><li>Passion for social media as a primary storytelling and engagement channel-not just a distribution platform</li></ul> The GIANT Company is an equal opportunity employer.
